Travertine


Travertine is a sedimentary rock composed mainly of calcium carbonate. It was originated millions of years ago by the deposits of rivers and springs that provided the travertine stone a unique and timeless beauty. 

The first examples of resistance and superb decorative qualities of this natural stone are found in ancient Rome, where monuments and churches were built of travertine.


Nowadays travertine are widely used in commercial spaces, workplaces and residential areas for their suitability in floor and wall tiles. We must highlight the increasing popularity of the baths made ​​in this material.
