Granite

Granite is an igneous rock consisting mainly of quartz, feldspar and mica, which give a great hardness and resistance to high temperatures. In addition, being a 100% natural material, the granite is nature friendly, environmentally friendly and recyclable. Another advantage of granite is that it has a wide range of colours and textures.

Granite has been extensively used as a coating in public buildings and monuments. With the increase of acid rain in developed countries, the marble has been replaced by the granite, as it is much more durable. Polished granite is popular in kitchens because of its high durability and esthetic qualities.
